Latar Belakang

Ketimpangan sosial dan ekonomi menyebabkan terjadinya ketidak-puasan masyarakat terutama para pendatang (Imigran)

Kondisi ekonomi, pengangguran serta ketidak puasan tersebut melahirkan pemberontakan yang lambat laun menjadi suatu organisasi (yang terorganisir) dan bernama Free Rebels.

Aksi-aksi Free Rebels, walaupun pada dasarnya menuntut keadilan dan kebenaran (versi mereka sendiri), akan tetapi juga meresahkan, mengganggu dan cenderung brutal sehingga pemerintah akhirnya membentuk satuan khusus yang diberi nama CT atau Counter Teroris.

Dengan lahirnya CT maka terjadilah perang abadi dan bunuh-bunuhan di dunia PointBlank :D

Karakter

Masing masing unit baik CT maupun Free Rebels memiliki anggota yang berkepribadian, skill serta latar belakang berbeda-beda, baca lengkapnya di sini (wikipedia)

Perbedaan PointBlank dengan Counter Strike

Game PointBlank dengan Counter Strike sangat mirip, terutama dalam cara memainkannya, akan tetapi perbedaannya juga banyak sekali :) antara lain

  1. Nama gamenya beda
  2. Perbedaan efek dan suara, dalam permainan (perangnya) banyak yang bilang lebih sulit CS, tapi dalam hal grafis, efek dan suara lebih mantap PB
  3. Online Multiplayer + Sistem point + pangkat dalam PB adalah salah satu hal yang membuat game PB lebih menarik dimainkan daripada CS
  4. Dalam game CS, beli senjata lebih murah atau bisa dibilang gratis, sedangkan di PB, sebagai modal, kamu diberi senjata gratis, tapi kalo pengen senjata yang lebih bagus dan mantab, kamu juga bisa beli voucer yang selanjutnya bisa buat beli senjata n perlengkapan lainnya (beli senjata dalam game ini juga tergantung Point yang didapat sehabis menyelesaikan misi dan naik pangkat, tapi mungkin agak lama kalo buat beli senjata bagus )
  5. Defaultnya di game CS nggak ada karakter ceweknya, entah versi terbarunya (versi terbaru belum nyoba :) ) )
